If you purchased tickets or paid a registration fee for the 5K, Family Breakfast, Crab Feast, Comedy Show, or CBLA RATT Reunion, you will not be required to pick up tickets in advance and instead will go to that event and check in at the location for tickets.

You may want to bring cash to play carnival booth games and cash/credit card to purchase food at the food trucks. In addition, student organizations will be tabling at the event and will have lots of activities, freebies and games for guests to participate. The UMBC Alumni Association will host a Hospitality Tent where guests can attend to mix and mingle, enjoy light refreshments, get a Homecoming t-shirt and other freebees, and purchase beer/wine. A table will be set up outside of the hospitality tent, staffed by Homecoming volunteers to answer questions about the day and more. Various alumni reunions and meet and greets will take place at the carnival; check the Homecoming calendar of events for a full listing as we get closer to the event.
For which events do I have to purchase tickets or register?
You must pay and register to attend the 5K Dawg Chase, Family Breakfast, Crab Feast, AKA Alumnae Reunion, CBLA RATT Reunion, and Comedy Night and the Men’s and Women’s soccer games (tickets only available on-site for the soccer games).
We strongly encourage you to pre-register for our other events (no-fee) such as the Alumni Awards, Big Prize Poetry Slam and Honors College Reception. Please register for both fee and non-fee based events by Wednesday October 9th at homecoming.umbc.edu.
Can I still attend non-pay events if I didn’t register in advance?
Although pre-registration is encouraged for many non-pay events, it is not absolutely necessary and you can still attend these events. We ask for pre-registration in order to anticipate the number of event attendees and order catering accordingly. Please note that Homecoming staff cannot guarantee ticket availability or admittance to any of these events due to capacity limits.

All guests will be able to check in on-site at the location of each event if you registered in advance. If you are a UMBC student, you can purchase your ticket for the Comedy Show in advance at the CIC.
