Remember how much fun you had building with Legos as a kid? Wouldn’t you love an excuse to build some cool models and help out thousands of kids at the same time? If so, we have the activity for you!
UMBC is building kits for the First Lego League Robotics Competition. We have hundreds of really cool models we need to build so that teams of kids in grades 4-8 throughout the state can compete in this year’s themed challenge, Super-Charged. We have things like lego dinosaurs, hybrid cars, wind turbines and factories to build, and only a short time to build them! Stop in anytime!
Most models take around 30-45 minutes to build, and you can build as many as you like. Due to the complexity of some of the models, we welcome adults and children ages 8 and up.
